Red Majestic Corkscrew Hazelnut is draped in stunning burgundy catkins hanging below the branches from late winter to early spring before the leaves. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It has attractive dark green foliagewith hints of burgundy which emerges burgundy in spring. The large crinkled round leaves are ornamentally significant and turn an outstanding red in the fall.

Red Majestic Corkscrew Hazelnut is a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a more or less rounded form. Its relatively coarse texture can be used to stand it apart from other landscape plants with finer foliage. The twisted dark brown bark and brown branches are extremely showy and add significant winter interest.
