Yes, PERENNIAL – not the Usual Biennial!  The result of 18 years of intensive breeding, this hollyhock bloom the first year and live much longer than the two-year life span of past Alcea! It grow a stately 4-6' tall, the top third of its stems filled with large single yellow blooms....towering above 18"-wide mounds of basal foliage.

These giant flowerstems(up to 6') sport numerous blooms crowded together -- when fully open, they are a solid wall of soft color! Of course, like all Hollyhocks the buds open from the bottom of the plant upwards, giving you weeks of fresh flowers! Full sun and rich, well-worked, moist soil. Staking required.
