'Sundance' is a seed strain introduced into commerce by Jelitto Perennial Seeds. It typically grows to 4' tall. Deep green leaves with contrasting yellow flowers provide showy late summer to fall bloom to sunlit areas.

Also known as Rough Coneflower, this species is native across much of the Eastern USA and Canada but not yet known in most gardens. It forms a bushy, upright mound of green leaves, with interesting parasol-shaped blooms that have droopy yellow petals surrounding a brown cone. Plants flower in late summer and well into the autumn. A magnet to butterflies. Great for cutting.
